For the first time in a very long time, I have actually finished a story! Not only that but I actually dedicated some of my time on my day off to writing instead of my normal dissociation type vibe I hit when I'm not working. In the process I've also found some friends that I look forward to sharing writing work with and reading their works as well.
Welcome back to day two of writing prompts for November! This one is about half the length of the first one, however I am very happy with how things turned out. Hopefully you enjoy this short story following Varian and Silus and a duel they won't soon forget!
This time I decided to go for something a little more humorous! I wanted the kinda bumbling main character to help break the tension of the scene and what ends up happening. Plus this one has a little bit of a cliffhanger ending!
For today's writing prompt I decided to go for a second person point of view! It was something a little new but I think it overall sets up a compelling story. I took inspiration from Harrow the Ninth and it's liberal use of second person to keep developing my own style of writing! I hope you end up enjoying the story!
For today's prompt, you'll get to follow Glenn as he fights his way through the club he works at with a little bit of help from an old "friend". In spite of it being a couple days between this and the last prompt, I have still written so much more in the past week than I have in years. So I will keep choosing to be proud of myself!
