You have a dopple-ganger and have been forced into the setting you rolled to fulfill their very important quest, but no-one believes you are not them.

For the first time in a very long time, I have actually finished a story! Not only that but I actually dedicated some of my time on my day off to writing instead of my normal dissociation type vibe I hit when I'm not working. In the process I've also found some friends that I look forward to sharing writing work with and reading their works as well.

Set in a royal palace, you are a cunning spy, either by trade or through practice. Your protagonist, an influential cleric, has openly challenged your main character’s status, pride or integrity within the courts. Your MC must navigate the rivalry in front of onlookers and peers.

Welcome back to day two of writing prompts for November! This one is about half the length of the first one, however I am very happy with how things turned out. Hopefully you enjoy this short story following Varian and Silus and a duel they won't soon forget!

A Best Buy geek squad member stumbles upon an encrypted hidden file on a client's corrupted hard drive while attempting data recovery. Without meaning to, the geek squad member unlocks the file, and curiosity gets the better of them. The file contains evidence that a major tech company has been altering people's memories for years -- that what is commonly known as the Mandela Effect was, in fact, both real and manufactured. As they try to process what they have found and the implications of it, more than 20 unmarked black cars arrive in the parking lot and men in suits emerge.

This time I decided to go for something a little more humorous! I wanted the kinda bumbling main character to help break the tension of the scene and what ends up happening. Plus this one has a little bit of a cliffhanger ending!

A tormented foreigner wants to steal a technique, but they must reconcile with an old enemy.

For today's writing prompt I decided to go for a second person point of view! It was something a little new but I think it overall sets up a compelling story. I took inspiration from Harrow the Ninth and it's liberal use of second person to keep developing my own style of writing! I hope you end up enjoying the story!
